Local Community Development
ENTRUST works in partnership with governments, private sector and international organizations to support and deliver tangible and sustainable improvements to local communities. We are extensively recognized for our major contribution to the development of North Sinai government through the “Livelihood and Income from the Environment” (LIFE) program, funded by the USAID as a sub- contractor for International Resources Group (IRG). We conduct socio-economic surveys, community needs assessments and are responsible for developing and approving community development plans and several key tasks that aim at supporting the poorer Bedouin communities in the Central Sinai region, in particular. Furthermore, ENTRUST was subcontracted by Chemonics International Inc. to conduct research on Tourism in the Southern Red Sea region in Egypt that aims at developing a plan for new tourism products in the Southern Red Sea market that meets the growing interest for soft-adventure tourism products in Egypt.
